Jazreal (Room 3- and Lanaya's big brother),  Mathias and Lanaya (Room 22)                Lanaya in action! Every Friday after school, Mathias and Lanaya head to the Otara Rec Centre where they become Orcas. Under the guidance of their coaches they learn new skills, practice team work and develop their basketball game.  This Friday was a special one... it was tournament day!  What an awesome display of teamwork,  sportsmanship and skill! The future of basketball at BMPS looks bright! 

Tiaki is modelling just one of the costumes from our special junior school item for Whaea Mereana.  Whaea Mereana has been a social worker at BMPS for 18 years, and is sadly leaving us. Her farewell assembly is being held: Friday 6th July 2018, 10am, School Hall. If you can, please come along and help us farewell her in style!  xx

Temple has been working hard at reading and ordering numbers to 10.  Today he did it all by himself! We are VERY proud of you, Temple!

If students are caught working hard, being kind, using initiative, following directions etc. they write their name on the star list. At the end of the day (if their name is still on the list) they choose a 'treat' from the jar.
